I realize many of you follow along on Instagram and have already given this recipe a try! But this frosting is seriously too good to let our blog-only friends miss out! How can you go wrong with anything involving Baileys, right? It is a tried and true staple that everyone loves, even non-pumpkin eaters. Then comes the silky smooth buttercream frosting. It&#8217;s a standard &#8220;American&#8221; style buttercream made with butter and confectioners&#8217; sugar, which means it&#8217;s super easy to mix up! With a hefty splash of Baileys Pumpkin Spice, we add notes of pumpkin, cinannamon, vanilla and coffee. Add a cinnamon stick for dramatic flair, if that speaks to you. As you finish up, be sure to leave a little frosting behind in the bowl&#8230; that spoonful (errrr&#8230; lick) has your name on it! liners.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-2\">In large bowl combine dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-3\">In bowl of stand mixer, beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until creamy.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-4\">Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-5\">Add dry ingredients and milk, alternating until well combined. Scrape down sides of bowl as necessary.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-6\">Mix in pumpkin puree.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-7\">Fill cupcake liners 2\/3 full with batter.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-8\">Bake for 18 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-9\">Let cupcakes cool in pans for 5 minutes, then remove to wire racks to finish cooling.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-10\">Once cupcakes are completely cool, top with frosting.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Make the Frosting:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-11\">Using a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, mix the butter, Bailey\u2019s Pumpkin Spice and one cup of the confectioners\u2019 sugar until smooth.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-12\">Gradually add remaining confectioners\u2019 sugar one cup at a time. Scrape down sides of bowl as needed.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-13\">Mix on lowest speed for 5 minutes until silky smooth and creamy.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>To Assemble Cupcakes:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-14\">Use a large round tip to pipe a circle of frosting onto your favorite pumpkin cupcake.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-15\">Coat with chopped pecans.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-16\">Use a large star tip to pipe a swirl of frosting to finish.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-17\">Adorn with cinnamon sticks, if desired.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n\t<div class=\"tasty-recipes-notes\">\n\t\t<h3 data-tasty-recipes-customization=\"h3-color.color h3-transform.text-transform\">Notes<\/h3>\n\t\t<div class=\"tasty-recipes-notes-body\" data-tasty-recipes-customization=\"body-color.color\">\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Store cupcakes in the refrigerator.
