“It’s always fun to create cakes for other industry professionals.\u00a0 When Jessica, owner of A Vintage Affair Events & Rentals<\/a>, reached out to us to create her cake\u00a0buffet, we were more than elated to get started with\u00a0the\u00a0designs.\u00a0 Jessica has a fabulous\u00a0sense\u00a0of style and wanted to grand presentation with multiple cakes of varying designs.”<\/p>\n

“The key to a great buffet is varying heights and sizes to create visual interest. \u00a0Jessica owns a vintage rental company and had several cake stands that she wanted to use on this fabulous wooden table, so we created 5 different designs using shades of pink as accents to tie them all together cohesively: an ombre deconstructed cake, \u00a0a two tier cake with\u00a0ribbons appearing to weave in and out, a simple smooth buttercream cake with fresh flowers, a fondant\u00a0Rossette cake to mimic\u00a0the\u00a0floral texture of her gown, and an adorable\u00a0Ombre heart cutout cake. Presentation is everything and sometimes\u00a0it’s\u00a0the\u00a0small details like hanging flavor cards, cake pedestals, and floral backdrops\u00a0the\u00a0really make a cake display pop.”<\/p>\n
