LUCKY CLOVERS CAKE<\/strong><br \/>\nDIY by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MisoBakes\" target=\"_blank\">Miso Bakes<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Supplies:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Green gumpaste<\/li>\n<li>Small heart shaped cutter<\/li>\n<li>Rolling pin<\/li>\n<li>Floral wire (I used 26 gauge)<\/li>\n<li>Ball tool<\/li>\n<li>Floral tape<\/li>\n<li>Leaf veiner<\/li>\n<li>Toothpicks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>STEP 1:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Cut three green hearts out.\u00a0 Using balling tool thin the curved, top half of the hearts.\u00a0 If your edges are too ruffled, gently flatten out with you finger.\u00a0 You want the bottom half of the hearts to be thick enough to insert wires in them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>STEP 2:<\/strong>\u00a0 Gently press your hearts (face down) onto the veiner.\u00a0 I like to do it this way so that the center vein of the leaf lines up with the center of the heart.<\/p>\n<p><strong>STEP 3:<\/strong>\u00a0 Dip one tip of your wire in water and insert into heart.\u00a0 Pinch the seal.\u00a0 Let dry completely.\u00a0 Dry flat as shamrock petals are not really curved.<\/p>\n<p><strong>STEP 4:<\/strong>\u00a0 Using floral tape, tape the three hearts together.\u00a0 Trim a bit of the wire so it looks like this.\u00a0 You will be taping a toothpick to elongate the stem so that you may insert the toothpick into the cake rather than the wire.<\/p>\n<p><strong>STEP 5:<\/strong>\u00a0 Tape toothpick onto the stem.<\/p>\n<p><strong>STEP 6:<\/strong>\u00a0 Your three-leaf clover \/ shamrock is complete!<\/p>\n<p><em>To create a lucky clover, simply follow the steps above creating four petals instead of three.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"left\" alt=\"Shamrock Cake Tutorial by Miso Bakes  |  TheCakeBlog.com\" src=\"https:\/\/thecakeblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/shamrock_cake_3.jpg\" width=\"546\" height=\"767\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You may use these to decorate a cake or cupcakes.\u00a0 I think it would be fun to hide a four-leaf clover in the midst of shamrocks and see who ends up with it on their slice of cake!\u00a0 Perhaps they can win a prize!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"left\" alt=\"Shamrock Cake Tutorial by Miso Bakes  |  TheCakeBlog.com\" src=\"https:\/\/thecakeblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/shamrock_cake_1.jpg\" width=\"546\" height=\"812\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Happy St. Patrick&#8217;s Day!
