I can hardly believe it’s the middle of MAY already!\u00a0 The school year is coming to a close and many students are prepping to take their proud walk across the graduation stage.\u00a0 Years of hard work and study deserve recognition AND an amazing cake!\u00a0 Today’s featured cake is the perfect way to commemorate this accomplishment.\u00a0 Whether it’s a graduation from high school, college or kindergarten!\u00a0 This wise old owl perches confidently on a worn, well read book.\u00a0 Complete with big eyes and tassel, Mr. Owl is completely adorable and totally edible!\u00a0 We’re oohing and awing over this Graduation Owl Cake<\/strong> created by Roberta of Finally…Cakes!<\/a><\/strong>, a new cake shop in Rome.<\/p>\n

“We love to consider the \u201cgraduation owl\u201d cake our mascot, so you can easily imagine how exciting it is for us to have it featured on Half Baked!\u00a0 The cake was designed for a dear friend\u2019s graduation party\u2026 and she had no idea at all what I would make.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t want to stick to graduation hats and pergamenas, but wanted something more original, cute\u2026and happy to celebrate such a special event!\u00a0 Definitely the little owl was just perfect for it.”<\/p>\n

This darling owl is bestowing wisdom and well wishes to all of the 2012 graduates!\u00a0 Not only would be be a hoot at any upcoming graduation party, but he’d be tasty too!<\/p>\n
